Our associates bring expertise in specific areas, such as learning & development, facilitation and coaching, corporate responsibility and sustainability, and charity engagement. They are a key part of the Three Hands team.

Jacqui Boardman
Jacqui is a non-executive Director of Three Hands and a Senior Partner and Director of Acona, an international consultancy specialising in Corporate Responsibility and Risk Management. She is a strategic advisor on CR for many international clients dealing with complex environmental, social and ethical issues. She works in a diverse range of areas, including hotels and leisure, betting and gaming, speciality finance, oil and gas, transport, and publishing. Jacqui is also dedicated to her own community, helping to raise the quality of life through cultural development. She helped to establish and spent many years as the chair of a multi-disciplinary Leisure and Cutlure Trust, providing services for more than 300,000 people in the North-West of England.
 

Robert Lane
Robert spent most of his full-time working life with Barclays Bank where his responsibilities varied from corporate lending to Human Resources Director. He has worked in mainland Europe, North America and the Caribbean where, for 6 years, he was Chief Operating Officer for a region-wide bank. Robert retired from Barclays in 2004 and now divides his time between consulting on executive development and voluntary work. He is also a keen sailor and a Royal Yachting Association approved instructor.
 

Dr Mark Wade
Mark offers a unique range of experiences and competencies to bring sustainable development thinking into the mainstream of major corporations. He joined Shell in 1979 as a research biochemist, moving in 1997 to the Corporate Centre as a founder member of the Sustainable Development Group, and then in 2003 to Shell Learning's Leadership Development group, from where he led Shell's Sustainable Development Learning programme. Until his retirement from Shell in April 2006, Mark was Shell's Liaison Delegate to the World Business Council for Sustainable Development and Chairman of the Business Network of the European Academy of Business in Society (EABiS). He is now a member of the Supervisory Board of EABiS. During his time with Shell, Mark was recognised internally and externally as a key player and architect of Shell's sustainability journey.
 

Andrew ‘Scotty’ Johnson
Scotty has worked in the field of experiential learning for over 10 years. From personal development programmes in expedition environments to interventions on Executive Leadership programmes with the business schools of INSEAD and Wharton, his informal yet challenging hands-on approach maximises learning opportunities. He has facilitated Three Hands community-based learning programmes for the Department for Constitutional Affairs, Reuters, Direct Line, Kroll, Travelex, Sky and News International and is involved with programme design as well as facilitation.
 

Steve Quinn
Steve is a human resources specialist, focusing on helping people in organisations deal with the effects of change. He coaches, trains, facilitates and consults and has worked throughout the UK and internationally, having completed projects in the Middle East, Africa, USA, Egypt, Bermuda and in mainland Europe. Steve has applied his skills to Three Hands on programmes for Royal Bank of Scotland, Department for Work & Pensions, Reuters and Adam & Company.
 

Mark Taylor

Mark is an experienced facilitator and has worked with graduates and senior teams in areas including leadership, team development and business alignment. His work has taken him to the USA, Africa and Asia and recent delivery has included senior team development, coaching skills and modular based personal development. He has worked with companies such as Barclays, Environment Agency, and Sony and facilitated Three Hands programmes for Direct Line, Royal Bank of Scotland, IBM and a multi-company team on one of our open programmes.
 

Steve Price
Steve is a learning & development facilitator who has worked in the HR arena for nearly 15 years as part of an international banking career with Barclays. Steve has an MBA and combines his HR and business expertise to support organisations through change management, performance improvement and senior team build and coaching. His clients include In Kind Direct, Barclays, Specsavers, Church Pastoral Aid Society, Compassion UK and Compassion USA. Steve is also the founding Trustee of a UK charity, The Seed Sowing Network, that runs a preschool in a slum in Nairobi, Kenya. Steve has worked on Three Hands' programmes for De Beers and O2 in the UK and Telefónica in Spain.
 

Steve Windsor
After more than 20 years in banking Steve directed his talents to leadership development, working with Board level people at a range of major corporations, combining his business experience with an MSc in Occupational Psychology. He comments: "In the last couple of years it has been my pleasure to meet Simon and Jan of Three Hands, which has opened my eyes to the real benefits of community-based engagement as a valid learning medium for businesses, leaders and communities alike". He has worked on Three Hands programmes with Gala Coral Group and Royal Bank of Scotland. He has also recently worked closely with charities on a pro-bono basis to help them with some of their own leadership and team challenges.
 

Toni Frost
For the last 12 years Toni has focused on the design and facilitation of management development training programmes for clients in the corporate financial sector. Prior to this her experience has been in human resources and learning. She has worked in the UK and Europe for clients such as Deloitte, Kroll and Accenture. Toni was delighted to work with Three Hands on the design and facilitation of a skills development programme for Kroll with the children's charity, The Place2Be. Toni firmly believes that such tailored programmes have universal benefits to organisations, individuals and the wider community.
 

Jeff Jackson

Jeff is a Team Specialist and Personal Coach, with a deep interest in helping teams and individuals improve their performance. He has been working in this field for most of his working life and is still dedicated to raising people’s awareness of life-long learning and the importance of Personal Mastery. He has worked with an extensive number of corporate clients as well as some high profile sports teams such as the British Lions, the BT Global Challenge Yacht Race, Scottish Rugby and England Cricket. With Three Hands he has worked on a number of community-based learning programmes, including the award-winning Pfizer project and Motorola's leadership development experience in Malawi.
