Senior team development at Travelex
We partnered Travelex with Community Links for a one-day programme with a difference
The People Development Manager at Travelex tasked us with providing the members of a senior team with a project that would enable them to see each other in a new environment, discover new strengths and talents in one another, and look at the business from the outside. We partnered them with Community Links, a well established charity in Newham, east London, and tasked them with putting on a competitive sports afternoon for teenagers from a deprived estate, as part of the charity’s work to tackle conflict in communities and provide meaningful activities to young people in the school holidays. As well as organising the event, the team had to participate themselves and put on a 'healthy tea' for the young people at the end of the afternoon. They also participated in a comprehensive learning review led by the Three Hands facilitator.
