We devise tailored projects, programmes and partnerships that are strategically relevant to business and that create social impact.

We believe that Community Impact is much more than a strand of a Corporate Responsibility strategy – it is a way to understand, engage in and act upon social and environmental issues, for the benefit of the business and society.

It is about bringing the purpose of the business to life through embracing big societal issues and local community themes.

Those are the considerations we have front of mind when supporting businesses with their Community Impact agendas, whether in a consultative or delivery role. Our work includes:

Designing and implementing flagship programmes, helping businesses to maximise their impact on a particular social or environmental theme.
Setting up and supporting high impact business-charity partnerships, ensuring there are benefits for both organisations and bridging any cultural differences.
Devising and running bespoke, skilled volunteering projects, often for senior teams, that tap into their business knowledge and experience and engage them in the social impact agenda.
Organising large scale business volunteering days, with a focus on skilled projects and building the capacity and skills of the volunteers.
Measuring and evaluating impact, including acting as an independent reviewer for existing projects, programmes and partnerships.

Making the transition from a Community Day to British Land’s first Community Week

Three Hands has partnered with British Land since 2015 to deliver its Community Day Programme, benefitting communities and partners in London. To increase business impact, this year it evolved into a Community Week.
